 makeBook is an eBook compiler/decompiler. In other words, it converts/compiles text files (.txt) to eBook files in either .prc or .tcr and can decompile them back to .txt format as well. eBook (.prc/.tcr) files are those used by programs such as EBook, VReader5, etc. Essentially the program is a front-end for Simon Quinn's ports of Makedoc7 (called Makedoc) and TCR. However both these programs use a comand line interface which tends at best to be not very user friendly and at worst downright clunky. makeBook is designed to make it all easy to use! |
